06-20-09 NYC Transit Museum Lo-V and Train Of Many Colors trip
The first of 2 planned excursions for this summer, this trip found the Train of Many Colors (TMOC) taking passengers from Grand Central to Gun Hill Road at White Plains Road, where they switched to the Lo-V train. The Lo-V ran up to Neried Avenue, changed ends and down the White Plains Rd line to E 180th where it ran 2 round trips on the Dyre Avenue line and then one more round trip up White Plains Road. The passengers switched to the Train of Many Colors at E 180th for the return trip via the new South Ferry terminal. I chased this trip as I wasn't sure of my plans for the day.
